How Started Our Company

  • 1992

    Establishment of Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Company

    Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Company has been established by Two Jordanian Companies ( 40% share ) and Four Japanese Companies ( 60% share ) as a limited liability shareholding company with a capital cost of US$ 24 million and a total investment cost of US$ 85 million.
  • 1995

    Commencement of NJFC Plant Construction

    NJFC Plant Construction Work has been Started.
  • 1997

    Inauguration & Start of Production

    Opening ceremony of NJFC Plant
    Under the patronage of His Majesty Late King Husein Ben Talal, NPK Plant of Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Company has been inaugurated on Saturday May 3rd 1997 by His Royal Highness Prince Hassan Ben Talal.
    NJFC Plant production has been started.
    Sales to Japan has been started.
  • 2000

    Establishment of Employee Entertainment Center

    Entertainment Center for NJFC Employees and their Families has been established.
  • 2003

    Excellence & Safety Awards Recognition

    NJFC has been awarded “The Prestigious Honor Award for Excellence and Development” by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Ben Al-Husein.
    NJFC has been awarded the “ Excellence Award in Safety and Occupational Health” by Social Security Corporation.
  • 2006

    ISO 9001:2008 Certification Achieved

    NJFC has been assessed and certified the requirements of “Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001:2008” by SGS.
  • 2007

    King Abdullah II Award for Excellence

    NJFC has been awarded The “King Abdullah II Award for Excellence” for cycle IV (2005- 2006 ) in the category of Small and Medium Manufacturing Companies in Jordan.
  • 2011

    Share Transfer in NJFC Ownership

    Share transfer in NJFC : 50% share of Three Japanese Companies has been transferred to the share of JPMC.
  • 2014

    Australian Government Certification & MAP Production

    NJFC has been awarded “LEVEL 1 SYSTEM STATUS for Bulk in-Ship Fertilizer” by Australian Government/Department of Agriculture according to Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services “ AQIS” requirements.
    NJFC has been awarded “LEVEL 1 SYSTEM STATUS for Containerized Fertilizer” by Australian Government/Department of Agriculture according to Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services “ AQIS” requirements.
    MAP ( Mono Ammonium Phosphate ) grade production has been started at NJFC Plant / Aqaba.
  • 2017

    REACH Registration for DAP & MAP

    NJFC has been registered in REACH through ECHA for :
    - DAP with REACH no.01-2119490974-22-0080.
    - MAP with REACH no.01-2119488166-29-0103.
  • 2018

    ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & Occupational Safety Recognition

    Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001:2008 has been renewed for ISO 9001:2015.
    NJFC has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of Enviromental Managment System “ ISO 14001:2015 ” by SGS.
    NJFC has been awarded certificate of appreciation for the Contributions made in occupational safety and health at work by Social Security Corporation.
    NJFC has been registered in REACH through ECHA for all NP and NPK.
  • 2021

    Renewal of Quality & Environmental Management Certifications

    Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001:2008 has been renewed for ISO 9001:2015.
    Environmental management systems Certification ISO 14001:2015 has been renewed.
  • 2023

    ISO 45001:2018 Certification for Occupational Health & Safety

    NJFC has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety Managment System “ ISO 45001:2018 ” by SGS.
